USDM N/A ECU's

Hi everyone,

The weather is starting to warm up here in central Massachusetts and that means junkyard hunting resumes!  There's a junkyard about 20 minutes from me with lots of Subarus and I am wondering if the ECU's would be of value to anyone for research purposes.  I can get them very cheap, but keep in mind that the condition is not guaranteed because, well... they come from a junkyard!  Most of them have probably been in an accident and water damage is always possible too.

Most of the ECU's available would be 93-03 Impreza 1.8 2.2 & 2.5 SOHC, 98-02 Forester 2.5 DOHC & SOHC, and 90-03 Legacy 2.2 and 2.5 DOHC & SOHC.  Keep in mind these are all USDM normally aspirated models.  Let me know if there is any interest in this.

I don't think we are quite ready to explore all of those ECU's yet. When we figure out one obd-2 ECU then I think it will be mostly down hill from there, that is when we will need more ECU's to compare and pull information from. I hope that when we get to that point you are will here.
