Has anyone looked into the OBDII on the 98 DOHC RS?
It's all greek to me
but I am having issues with my new engine build and am going to try Pocketlogger to do some ECU data logging to see if I can find out what isn't right....It may be that tinkering with the ECU might be in order.
I built an engine using the 05 SOHC shortblock with steel shim HGs and 95 DOHC JDM (hyd lifter ver) heads. I should be in the 10.5+ CR range but have not had a hint of ping even with the knock sensor rendered ineffective. Also the fuel mileage dropped about 5-6 mpg and the tailpipe (with hi-flow converters)is burning black and fluffy which it never did before.....nothing was changed other than the longblock......
