Nope...

98 RS = EJ25D (DOHC, MAF)
99 RS = EJ253 (SOHC, MAF)
00-04 RS = EJ251 (SOHC, MAP)
05+ RS/i= EJ253 (SOHC, MAF, with AVLS)
